TERMS & CONDITIONS

The important stuff. By placing an order with Oceans Observatory, you agree to the terms below.

Placing an Order

All orders are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Oceans Observatory.

We do our best to keep product information, pricing and availability accurate. Occasionally, mistakes happen. If we discover an error affecting your order, we’ll contact you and give you the option to proceed with the updated details or cancel for a full refund.

Stock availability shown on our website is a guide only and is not guaranteed until your order has been confirmed and processed.

Need to cancel or change something? Email oceansobservatory@gmail.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or dispatched.

If your order has already been sent, shipping and return costs may apply.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues or incorrect product information. If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

Custom Orders

Custom and made-to-order products are created specifically for you and require full payment upfront.

Because these pieces are produced to your specifications and cannot be resold as standard inventory, custom orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has begun.

Please choose carefully. Custom products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or does not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty Products + Warranty Claims

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, email oceansobservatory@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear supporting images.

If the product is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will provide a repair, replacement, refund or another remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

For a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. If the failure is minor, we may repair the product within a reasonable timeframe or provide another appropriate remedy.

This does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, improper handling, unauthorised modifications or normal wear and tear.

If a returned product is assessed and found not to have a manufacturing fault, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and associated costs.

Product Information

We do our best to ensure the information on our website is accurate and current. However, occasional errors or omissions may occur.

Oceans Observatory may update product designs, specifications, availability and pricing without notice. Any changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed, unless we contact you and receive your agreement.

Product images are provided as a guide. Colours, finishes and details may appear slightly different depending on the product, production process or screen used to view them.
